This website is provided by Black Rock Electric for general information about our electrical services, membership, pricing, and service areas. Content may be updated at any time. Information on this site is not a quote; pricing for a specific job is confirmed when work is scheduled or an estimate is provided.

Links to this site's contact methods (phone and email) are provided for genuine service inquiries. Please do not use them to send unsolicited commercial messages.

Service and payment terms

Rates

• Standard Electrician: $200/hour
• Master Electrician: $350/hour
• Electrical Assessment: $200. The $200 assessment fee is waived if approved quoted work proceeds.

Emergency and after-hours work

• Emergency Call-Out: $500–$1,000. Depending on the situation. Evenings, weekends, and holidays. Call to confirm availability.
• After-Hours Emergency Labor: $400/hour. Billed once the electrician arrives and work begins, in addition to the emergency call-out fee.

For after-hours emergency work, the call-out fee may be up to $1,000, plus $400/hr once work begins.

Billing

Standard service calls have a one-hour minimum. Additional time is billed in 15-minute increments after the first hour.

Materials

Materials are billed at cost plus 20% markup.

Warranty

6-month labor warranty. Material warranties vary by manufacturer.

Payment, estimates, and cancellations

• Payment is due upon completion of work.
• Cash, check, and major credit cards are accepted.
• Estimates are valid for 30 days.
• Large projects may require a deposit.
• Cancellations require at least 24 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee.

Membership terms

Black Rock Membership is a recurring, paid membership. Benefits currently include 20% off eligible labor, no standard trip charge, priority scheduling, a home electrical inspection with a written report, and transfer benefits that may apply according to the membership terms.

The optional free electrical walkthrough is offered separately, without obligation, and does not require or activate a membership. It is not a full inspection and is distinct from the member inspection and written report.
